Ultimate RV Resort Information
Niagara's Lazy Lakes Camping Resort
In the heart of Niagara County, Niagara’s Lazy Lakes Resort is just a few minutes’ drive from the Canadian border, Lake Ontario, and world-famous Niagara Falls, Casino Niagara, and Seneca Niagara Casino.
Fine restaurants and golf courses are plentiful in the area, but the big attraction is, of course, Niagara Falls. This thundering wall of water is a wonder of the world. It’s breathtaking by day, by night, from above by helicopter or elevator, from below by catwalk, or by the popular “Maid of the Mist” tour boat.
The Niagara Power Project Visitors Center offers energy exhibits, movies, a history of Niagara Power, and an observation deck with a marvelous view of the gorge.
At Niagara Reservation State Park, visitors will find Prospect Point and Observation Tower, Cave of the Winds, Goat Island (in the middle of the falls), Terrapin Point, Three Sisters Islands, and Luna Island. Boat cruises are available, and the visitors center displays a “Niagara Wonders” movie and has a gift shop for all the Niagara Falls memorabilia.
Old Fort Niagara in Youngstown saw service under French, English, and American flags, and from July 1 through Labor Day visitors can witness military drills and demonstrations by costumed soldiers.
Our Lady of Fatima Shrine between Lewiston and Youngstown is an outdoor cathedral where visitors can see a dome of translucent glass that depicts the world. The grounds facing the dome form a garden with 100 life-size Carrara marble statues. There’s also a cafeteria and gift shop.
